In conversation, it is good for you to speak as correctly as possible; and you can do this without making your speech stiff or unnatural. The habit of good speech is easy to form you will try to exercise it on all occasions.
Tips!
1) Make a list of live and interesting topics of conversation. Be sure to include books, hobbies, community interests, motion pictures, videos, and class and school interests.
2) Plan a series of weekly class conversations. From your list, choose a topic for each period so that everyone may come prepared to take part. Select a host and hostess for each period.
As you converse, all of you should try to meet the following standards.
a) Feel responsible for taking your part.
b) Make whatever you say interesting.
c) Choose words with a thought for both interest and correctness.
d) Show courteous interest in the remarks of others.
e) Should you happen to interrupt someone, be sure to apologize.
